MrRight: Choose your role model carefully:

It could change your life

The greatest minds of our lifetime are not always the coolest people in the world.

Great achievers don't go around popping open bottles of beer and making new friends. They don't share their achievements on Facebook or put up videos on YouTube. They are humble.

Nelson Mandela, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Oprah and Mother Theresa are the names I know and have a lot of respect for. These are people who overcame hardship and worked to make their dreams a reality.

But where are today’s leaders?

Young people these days don't try to be like these game-changers. Instead we look up to celebrities, gangstas or YouTube sensations.

It’s time we focused less on hustling and more on studying. We need to understand the world we live in and find out place in it. There is no excuse for ignorance.

It’s hard to rise above your problems and fight for a better life, country or world. Mr Right is looking for a hero to inspire him. Who inspires you and why? Tell us about it.

I'm my own role model because I've overcome and am working through a lot of hardship, but I keep going because I know what I want from my life. Other role models are Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla.
