Do you ever find yourself getting really irritable for no reason, or suddenly feeling sad or angry without knowing why?
Growing up is a time when you are finding out who you are and exploring your self-image. These ups and downs are all part of it! Some blame for your moods can be put on your hormones.
What can your hormones do to your mood?
- You can feel really emotional or angry. You may get mad at your parents and friends. A little thing that wouldn't have bothered you earlier drives you crazy now.
- You may want to break home or school rules.
- You may cry a lot. You may cry because of something very serious that makes you feel sad or disappointed—or you may burst into tears because you left your lunch at home. This is also normal!
- You may think you're weird. You may compare yourself to your friends, and feel like there's something really wrong with you. You may feel unsure of yourself and your body.
- You may experiences changes in sexual feelings. Do not worry it is normal, girl
- Your breasts, including your nipples, may become swollen and painful.
Just remember that almost everyone else your age is self-conscious too, so chances are they won't be worrying about you!
Ups and downs are a part of growing up. These moods can come and go quickly. Try not to ruin good relationships along the way by taking them too seriously.

I led a stressful life as a single parent from 2016 to 2017, I was often weak, lost appetite, very edgy and would cry a lot. There were times when I was too weak to eat, to take a bath, and experienced serious headaches. Got counseling, was at some point given sleeping tablets cause I could no longer fall asleep naturally. I stopped taking the medication on my own, but a year later am experiencing the same again. Can I safely say I'm depressed,?
